Privacy Policy
Learn how we protect and handle your personal information
Last updated: October 7, 2026
Who we are
Sanden Solutions is a web development, hosting and technology consulting business in Chattanooga, Tennessee. This policy explains what personal information we collect through sandensolutions.com, our free online tools and our client services, how we use it, and the choices you have. Questions: [email protected] or (423) 515-5315.
Information we collect
- When you contact us: the name, email address, phone number and message you enter in our contact form or chat-style contact box, plus your IP address and browser details, which we use to block spam.
- When you use our free tools: what you enter, such as a website address to scan or the destination and label of a QR code. Results may be kept so we can show them again or let you share a link to them (share links last 30 days). If you give us an email address (for example, to get the management link for a dynamic QR code, or to sign in to the Uptime Monitor and get its alerts), we use it only for that tool.
- When someone scans one of our QR codes: we count scans per day and filter out bots. We do not record who scanned the code.
- When you are a client: your contact details, project and billing information, signed agreements, and the emails, text messages and other messages we exchange. Card payments are processed by Stripe; we do not store full card numbers.
- Automatically: basic technical information such as IP address, browser type and pages visited, and the cookies described below.
How we use it
To answer your questions and send quotes, deliver and bill for our services, run our free tools, keep our forms and systems secure and free of spam, understand how our website is used, and measure our advertising. We do not sell your personal information for money.
Who we share it with
We share information only with service providers that help us run our business, and only as needed for that work: website hosting and security (including Cloudflare), email and text-message delivery (including Twilio), payment processing (Stripe), and AI services (such as OpenAI and Anthropic) that power some of our tools and screen form messages for spam. We also use the analytics and advertising partners described in the next section. We may disclose information if the law requires it.
Cookies, analytics and advertising
We use Google Analytics to understand how visitors use our site, and Google Ads and the TikTok Pixel to measure our ads and show them to people who have visited our site. These companies may set cookies and receive information such as the pages you view and your IP address.
- Your choice: our cookie banner lets you accept or decline. Visitors in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland get no analytics or advertising cookies unless they click Accept. Elsewhere these tools run by default, and choosing "necessary only" (or Decline) turns them off.
- Global Privacy Control: if your browser sends a Global Privacy Control signal, we treat it as an opt-out of the sale or sharing of your information for advertising: the TikTok Pixel does not load and Google advertising cookies are turned off.
- Other options: you can block or delete cookies in your browser, opt out of Google Analytics at tools.google.com/dlpage/gaoptout, and manage Google ad settings at adssettings.google.com.
Text messages
If you are a client or have asked us to text you, we may send text messages about your project, appointments, invoices and account. Message and data rates may apply, and message frequency varies. Reply STOP to any message to stop texts, or HELP for help. We do not sell or share your mobile phone number or text-message consent with third parties or affiliates for their marketing or promotional purposes.
Messages sent to our Facebook Page or Instagram account
When you send a message to the Sanden Solutions Facebook Page (through Messenger) or to our Instagram account, Meta shares that message with us so we can read it and reply. Our own internal tool receives the message text, any photos or files you attach, the time it was sent, your Page-scoped ID, and the public name (or Instagram username) on your profile.
We use this information only to see and respond to your message and to keep a record of our conversation with you, the same way we handle email and phone messages. We do not use it for advertising, we do not sell it, and we do not share it with anyone outside Sanden Solutions except the service providers that host our systems. Our tool never sends messages on its own; replies come from a person at Sanden Solutions.
We keep these message records for as long as we are in contact with you and for a reasonable time afterwards for our business records, unless you ask us to delete them sooner.
How to delete your data
To have us delete the messages and profile details we hold from your Facebook or Instagram conversations with us (or any other personal data we hold about you), email [email protected] with the subject "Delete my data" and tell us the name on your Facebook or Instagram profile. We will delete it within 30 days and confirm by email. You can also delete the conversation from your own Messenger or Instagram inbox at any time, and remove any app's access in your Facebook settings under Apps and Websites.
How long we keep information
Contact and lead messages are kept as long as we are in touch with you and for a reasonable time afterwards for our business records. Client records are kept for the length of our work together and as long as tax and legal rules require. Free-tool results and share links expire after 30 days. Dynamic QR codes and Uptime Monitor accounts are kept while you use them, and you can ask us to delete them at any time.
Your rights
You can ask us what personal information we have about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it, by emailing [email protected]. We will answer within 30 days. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under your state's or country's privacy laws, and we will honor them.
Security and children
We use reasonable safeguards to protect the information we hold, but no website is perfectly secure. Our website and tools are not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information.
Changes and contact
We will post any changes to this policy on this page and update the date at the top. If you have questions about this policy or how we handle your data, email [email protected], call (423) 515-5315, or contact us.
