Griffin is seven letters with the capital G and a double-f in the middle that creates a unique below-the-baseline pattern. The cursive f is one of the most distinctive letters since it extends both above and below the line. Having two of them back to back is a real workout.

These letter pairs need extra attention. Here's how to connect them smoothly.
The capital G ends near the baseline with its crossbar. Bridge into the small cursive r with a short connecting stroke.
Both f's should extend above the midline and loop below the baseline. Keep them identical in size and shape.
The r peaks at the midline and drops into the i. Keep the r small so it does not compete with the f's.
The double-f is the signature of this name. Practice the cursive f's loop above and below the line.
Dot both i's after writing all seven letters.
The capital G needs its crossbar to distinguish it from a capital C. Do not forget it.
