How to Write Cursive Capital X
Stroke Instructions
Start near the top line. Make a curved stroke from the top-left down to the baseline on the right side. Then lift (or loop) and make a crossing stroke from the top-right to the bottom-left. The two strokes cross near the middle of the letter. End with an exit stroke to the right.
Tips for Success
- The two strokes should cross near the center
- In cursive, the strokes often have more curve than in print
- The exit stroke should connect smoothly
- Some styles make it in one continuous stroke with a loop at the cross point
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- The cross point being off-center
- Making it too similar to a print X
- Forgetting the connecting strokes
