How to Write Cursive t
Stroke Instructions
Start at the baseline and make an upward stroke that goes about three-quarters of the way to the top line (taller than midline but not as tall as letters like 'l' or 'b'). Come back down to the baseline with a slight curve, then add an exit stroke to the right. After completing the main stroke, go back and cross the 't' with a short horizontal line near the midline.
Tips for Success
- The 't' is shorter than full-height letters like 'l', 'b', 'h'
- Cross the 't' after finishing the whole word, just like dotting 'i' and 'j'
- The cross should be a short, clean horizontal stroke
- Keep the height consistent — about halfway between midline and top line
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Making it the same height as 'l' or 'b' (it should be shorter)
- Forgetting to cross it
- The cross being too long or at the wrong height
