How to Write Cursive Capital P
Stroke Instructions
Start at the baseline and make a tall upward stroke to the top line. From the top, loop to the right creating a rounded bump that comes back to meet the tall stroke near the midline. The bump creates the top half of the P. End with an exit stroke from the midline or baseline.
Tips for Success
- The bump should be smooth and well-rounded
- It should close back at the tall stroke near the midline
- Like a capital B but with only one bump (at the top)
- The exit stroke connects to the next letter
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- The bump being too angular
- Not closing the bump back at the tall stroke
- The bump being positioned too low
