How to Write Cursive Capital M
Stroke Instructions
Start at the baseline. Make an upward stroke to the top line. From the top, make a rounded hump that comes down to the baseline, then back up to the top line, creating a second hump, then come back down to the baseline with an exit stroke. Think of it as two large humps between two tall strokes.
Tips for Success
- Both humps should reach the top line
- The humps should be roughly equal in size
- Keep the letter wide enough to look like an M, not an N
- The exit stroke should connect smoothly
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- Humps being uneven
- Not reaching the top line with the peaks
- Making it too narrow (looks like capital N)
