How to Write Cursive Capital K
Stroke Instructions
Start at the baseline with a tall upward stroke to the top line, adding a loop at the top. Come back down to the baseline. From the midpoint area, create a loop that angles up to the right (meeting near the top) and then angles back down to the baseline with an exit stroke. The two angled strokes create the K shape.
Tips for Success
- The tall stroke is like starting a capital H or L
- The angled strokes in the middle define the K shape
- Keep the angles clean and balanced
- The exit stroke should connect cleanly to the next letter
Common Mistakes to Avoid
- The angled strokes being unbalanced
- Not meeting at the right point on the tall stroke
- The letter being too narrow or too wide
